Honeymoon In North Carolina

For our honeymoon, we spent about a  week in a condo a few minutes from the beach,  in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.  It was our first time there and we loved it. We are planning,  with God's will,  to make it a two week family getaway every August.

THANK YOU! !!

Thank God for allowing us to find each other. It has been a long road... sometimes smooth and sometimes rocky. Our family and friends have have been so supportive, loving, and generous. We are overwhelmed with joy and without all of you following what God placed in your hearts, we wouldn't have made it here so gracefully. Venders, financial sponsors, planners, decorators, Pastors,  guests... it didn't matter how big your part was in this process, everything contributed to the bigger vision that God has. As artists, we thought it would be easy to express our gratitude but we are speechless.

FUN, FUN, FUN...  was the main word everyone gave us in the feedback about wedding and we are so glad everyone enjoyed themselves. We also feel blessed because both of our families united like we have been families for a while.

My First Wedding Nightmare... lol

Last night, I had my first official wedding nightmare dream. First of all, my dress was black and it couldn't fit. Then I forgot all my jewelry... even my bouquet. And my mother had a bouquet and didn't want to lend it to me to walk down the aisle. Someone gave me Queenie and two other girls to get dressed for the wedding and we were running two hours behind. Then I called Ryan because I missed his call. He told me that him and his groomsmen were leaving to eat LOBSTER! !! Oh.... Ryan and I missed our last counseling session with the Pastor AND we forgot to get the marriage certificate so our wedding was not even legal. 

This dream was a hot mess. But it put me on my toes. I'm packing my bags starting this weekend and we are going to get our marriage certificate this week. At least if the wedding is messed up our marriage could at least be legal. Lol

We had our first marriage counseling session today with our Pastors. They are so awesome.
